​The Football Business Awards, in association with Smith & Williamson, have announced that this year’s awards ceremony will be taking place at Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal Football Club.

Now in their 5th year, The Football Business Awards celebrate the unsung heroes working tirelessly behind the scenes to shape the football industry. With categories including Best Business Serving Football, Best Non-match Day Use of the Venue, Best Marketing of a Football Club, CEO of the Year and Best / Most Innovative Use of Technology, the awards have acknowledged a number of premier and non-premier league and international teams, as well as professionals supporting the infrastructure of the football industry.

Each year a distinct accolade is awarded to the Global Football Ambassador of the Year. Previous winners have included Sir Trevor Brooking (2015) and Sir Bobby Charlton (2014) who attended their respective ceremonies to receive their awards.

Arsenal and the team at Emirates Stadium have supported the Football Business Awards from the offset and have previously won the Best Football Club Hospitality and received a mark of excellence for the Best Non-match Day use of Venue.
